Anyone else having problems with Mail not displaying the content of a message on occasion? I use Mail in a corporate setting with several Exchange servers and quite frequently I receive messages that appear to have no content. If I select the message and go to View->Message->Raw Source, there clearly is a body in the email message.

It seems like Mail is not handling certiain MIME/header types correctly.

I have the same issue for months now. One day to another all message contents are gone. They are on the list but when I click on them the body is empty. This happens in case of all, new, old, received, sent etc. messages.

I had no other option then using IMAP, which is crap but could not find solution for this, yet...

I also have this issue. The text shows up in the preview lines, but the only way I can see it is to view the raw source (View->Message->Raw Source) and decipher it there.

I'm also having this issue - it's really annoying. This happened to me right after upgrading from Snow Leopard to Lion 10.7.4 (which I did a couple days ago). I'm using Exchange mail at work and I've tried rebuilding the inbox, quitting mail etc. It's only happening to about 5% of my emails, but it's super annoying to not be able to see the message content! I also have an iPhone and I can see all my Exchange mail on that without issue.

I'm having this problem as well. I found a quick fix (not a solution) that's a bit better then having to view the raw source (View->Message->Raw Source). So the problem happened to a grouped conversation, I clicked the group, went View->Expand All Conversations. Each email then appeared below the group, and displayed normally.

    I hope this helps.

Yes, this is a real problem. I have been experiencing the same issue for at least several weeks. Took me a while to catch on.
