Try here > Mac App Store: "An unknown error occurred (100)" when purchasing
If nothing there helped, instali the OS X Lion Update 10.7.4 (Client Combo)
That reinstalls the App Store for you. It's ok to do this even though you are already running v10.7.4
Restart your Mac after installing the combo then try the App Store.

May 20, 2012 11:57 AM in response to Andyjcc2012by Bennie Roys,This is how I fixed it when I couldn't update a game on my iMac and was constantly getting error code 13 and 100, but as with you all worked well on my Macbook. You must be logged in as administrator. Create new user account. Log out, restart, and then log back in with new user account. Open App Store sign in and try update/purchase. Worked perfectly for me. Log out of the new account and log back in to the original account or you won't have access to the home folder of the original account. I see, and had no need to reinstall the system OS. However the problem account still has the problem. It can be deleted and another account set up if you want, though this may not be practical since you will have to re-do all the settings in the new account. Just be sure to save the home folder from the original account before deleting or you will lose all downloads, documents, etc. for that account. You will be prompted to save the home folder when you attempt to delete the account. As for me...I kept both accounts because I didn't want to go through the hassle involved with deleting the problem account and setting it up again.
Peace,
Bennie
