I am a PC user and this is my first Mac for my business. Do I have to have a cleaner for it since it has an intel chip?

No. OS X takes care of itself.

No. Most of the "cleaner" and anti-virus programs do more harm then good. So avoid them.

If you really feel you need something to check for virus, I recommend ClamXav.

Ignore every popup you ever get about stuff like that. All you'll do is screw your system up.

If you ever get tempted to purchase an application that say it is going to fix all of your problems for you, please come here first and ask. Someone here will give the straight word on them.

Allan Eckert, greetings: 95%+ times your correct, but there are a few shilsl appearing from time to time that mislead the unwary.  Advice to the OP, wait until you get more than one response.

    Ciao.
