Take your iPod to an Apple Store and explain your problem to someone at the Genius Bar. I think you don't need the receipt to replace it

If this iPod is new and under warranty bring it to the apple store so they can diagnose the problem if there is one...and replace it for free if they need to.

Already sent my Ipod shuffle to iStore here in Ayala Center Cebu, Philippines. I hope they will replace it coz I just bought this stuff last May 12, 2012. This will only happen if I'll let it play in max volume.

Apple replaced it with Refurbished unit. So sad..
