Bump again? Why do you have to keep editing instructions for this 'fix'? Was it poorly implemented to start with? Not ready to put up on the forum? This can be the opposite to help for users, of which none have been here for 16 days except yourself.

    Good luck

the most mature way to proceed (here and on other threads) is to offer your advice and let the inquiring parties decide what the best solution is for them.

Since you say you "agree", can we all now look forward to an end to your typically childish, deliberately inflammatory remarks, like the one below and countless others since you joined this community?

What is the problem to ad Rosetto to the Lion OS. Is it so to coding this tool to the system?

Yes. Rosetta must be recoded in order to work with Lion. Apple decided not to do that for such ancient code.

First is it is a spelling problem.

Second creating software is not like writing a sentences.

Third, it is its own language that follows even stricter rules than grammar does.

Fourth the software must be able to communicate with itself, and the processor as well.

If you could be more specific about your computer and the programs you have, we can be more specific about solutions.

We have many projects made with freehand, golive, livemotion and so on. We could not transfer the data to a newer software solution and we are working with these files near every day. I think that much more user have the same problem. Because we are working so often with the old files, the parallels idea is no solution for us.

Ahhh, Freehand... I cut my vector application teeth on that last century. I liked it better than Illustrator then and from memory it had some nifty features that Illustrator took a long time to catch up on.

In my print brokering experience I notice they still use it in Israel and China.

Just like I play several PowerPC only games that have no Intel version and never will and they don't play well, if at all, in Parallels.  My sister still plays the original Star Craft which is PowerPC only.  Apple really should make Rosetta for Lion.  This is the first time ever that I didn't upgrade to the latest Mac OS X.  My other issue is that I prefer to have an install disc rather than a DMG image.  I don't like the idea of a recovery partition when I have little hard drive space left.

I am surprised that Appl ditched Rosetta so quickly when they kept Classic mode for many years up til 10.5 or 10.4 for Intel.  At least there is an excellent solution for Classic since it is not very intesive.

I can never buy a new Mac since they can no longer run Snow Leopard.  Maybe by some miracle some other company will make something similar that works just as well.  My only complaint with Rosetta is that it doesn't run Office 2004 well so I was forced to upgrade to 2008 which I don't like.  I prefer the Office 2004 interface better.
