I get this kind of error frequently:

iCal.png

The server responded with an error.

Access to “[an event]” in “[a calendar]” in account “iCloud” is not permitted.

The server responded:

“403”

to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation.

Why?

What does it mean "Go Offline" versus "Revert to Server"?

I was getting this same error message when I would click the button to accept/decline calendar invitations.  Turns out I had a secondary Apple ID which was also using my iCloud email address.  I went in and changed the email address associated with my old apple ID to a totally different email address (not .me or .mac), and problem solved.  Hope that helps!

I have the same problem, which is very annoying. I don't believe that I have another Apple ID, but if I did once and have forgotten about it, how would I go about rediscovering it?
