sorry, francesco, that does not work for IE 9… though, in safari and FF it works fine, and it looks fine. though these both together are not the internet/not the web.

I do not use IE so I do not know what to tell you, if I can give you some advice, try to reinstall it (IE) very well may have been an installation problem.

What shall I tell my visitors? If you fell to see my presentation not well, then reinstall your IE? *My* IE was only used for checking to see, what others - 40%, 50%, 70% of my visitors in this special case - are seeing.

But you are right: a keynote-presentation is not a matter of millions in the air, but of one who is presenting it in an darkend room. It was just my idea to do my work easy and beautiful with keynote, and it was a mistake to hope for reliability in converting it for web per keynote. I used a *good* tool  for the wrong task.

Why not export your presentation as a Quicktime video?

bwfromspring Hill has had a good idea, I know of your expertise in the field of computer, but if it is not too difficult you could try to write in HTML, or export it in other ways, I do not know what would be helpful but if you try iwork.com to put it onand then download it on PC you use or submit it directly from them. could be a less complicated.

the fact that IE does not open pages written in HTML is worrying!

May be I did not describe what I wanted: a presentation to be controlled fully by others, a project to show pictures with texts together, some of theme side by side to show differences.

I was glad to have keynote to put the pictures in place and give the text exactely to its position, and reorder the pages in some cases. The whole file is 44 pages in lenght, then exported it to „HTML“ and put it onto a webserver for some people. As I sayed fine on Mac, not fine on WIN, what is the widest area of W3.

Francesco, IE does open the pages, but it looks mostly other than it should; the last twenty years every book declared how to write this and others to erreichen with HTML and CSS, *but not in IE  there you have it to do in other way*. In the last years it become a bit easier, though not all the way.

bwfromspring hill, QT was not the first attempt because some people does not like to install QT onto their computers.

    Karl,

A video seems to work more universally and have less baggage than HTML, especially with your iE problems.

If QuickTime is not your audience's cup of tea, Keynote '09 also allows one to export to YouTube, which almost anyone with a computer can access, view and control.

Share > Send To > YouTube

    Try it.

bwfromspring hill, youtube was not „my cup of tea“ (we say in similar cases „not my beer“), for future I will keep your hint in mind.

    Thank you.
