Q: iPhoto does not show all my photo stream content

iPhoto (iPhoto 11 ver 9.2.3) photo stream does not always show all of the recent photos I took even though my IOS devices show them. Any ideas why?

When you say the iOS device shows them, do you mean on the camera roll or in the photo stream album.

I meant the photo stream in IOS.

I solved the problem by disabling iPhoto Preferences>Photo Stream>Automatic Import and Automatic Upload. This allowed Photostream to refresh properly on my Mac. It was not refreshing, I believe, because it was also trying to import the photos to my computer. I let it do this for hours previously, but it must have been timing out because it never completed the photostream download.

After photostream refreshed properly I manually copied the pictures that had not been downloaded to my computer to the Photos album.

I then turned Automatic Import and Automatic Upload back on in iPhoto and tested it by taking a picture with my iPhone. Within seconds the photo appeared in my photo stream on the Mac. So I must assume that the issue has resolved itself. I suspect the problem occurred because I took a large number of photos (around 100) while I was away from WiFi.
