When you started up FCP X after the update, did it tell you that some projects or events needed to be updated? You have to let it update your projects to be used in the newer version.

Did you try quitting and restarting FCP X?

Yes I did, the first time after updated didn't  ask me to update projects and events so I try in a second computer updating a diferent FCP X I had there and this time asked me to do it, I did but still stops for ever trying to load in the same project that in the first computer.

I can see the first 10 projects but when arrives to a particular one keeps loading for ever and can't move from there?

That project may have become corrupt.

As a first step, I would move that one project out of the Final Cut Projects folder and see if FCP X starts up ok.

If it does, then we know the problem is in this project. You then may try to force FCP X to use a backup version of the project.

I started to insert projects one by one in a new disk and finally arrange to keep moving, recovered all except the one giving troubles (that I can't find)  it was working well before the update but I got now back 95% of the projects working well.

    Thanks Luis.
