AFTER DOWNLOADING THE RECENT SECURITY UPDATE I CAN NOT SEEM TO GET ADOBE FLASHPLAYER TO WORK

    Don't shout.   Using all uppercase is considered shouting on the internet, and is hard to read.  Download it directly from Adobe's website.  Ignore popup screens to update it, and disable its automatic update function through its System preference.  Only update when you hear it is essential to get a new version of it, and go to the Adobe website.  Ignore any popups that tell you to update.

    Apparently I wan't clear when I mentioned I had updated. I did not update Adobe.

    I had updated when prompted by Safari assuming this is aan Apple application.

    I was able to remedy my java issue on my own and went to the Apple store

    because my attempt to re-install adobe did

    not work and they succesfully re-installed adobe.

     

    I was also not aware that upper case was shouting or difficult to read.
