Q: I want to sync the photos on my iPad to my MacBook Pro, but cannot figure out how. Any ideas?

I have a lot of photos on my iPad that were synced to an old PC. Now I want to sync them to my new MacBook Pro but cannot figure out how to go from iPad to MacBook. Any ideas?

iPad 2, iOS 5.1.1

You can import them into iPhoto or Image Capture on the Mac. Those apps will see the iPad just like iTunes sees it when you connect to sync. More info here.
