Sign the phone into your iTunes account:

Settings > Store > tap ID > sign out > sign in with your iTunes account.

His user name pops up because all the content on the phone is from his account.  Do you sync with a computer and if so, with a different computer than your husband?

There is no "reset to factory settings" command on iPhones - maybe you mean Erase All Data and Settings, or Restore in iTunes.  If you do either, you will lose your pics unless you've backed  up to either iCloud or iTunes.  Have you been backing up?

Do you use iCloud?  Do you backup to iCloud?

    Try this:

Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Data and Settings

Follow prompts to re-setup and activate the phone

When prompted to restore the backup from iCloud, agree

Let the phone re-download your iTunes Store and App Store content.
