Hellol, Everytime that I go to the internet, it will close itself and close the app that I am working with after about 5-15 seconds. When I retry many times, sometimes I am able to mantain the browser open for a longer time. Ideas?

 

This started happening after I started watching online movies in Netflix. Would that have something to do with it?

 

Now this is happening more and more frequently and with every website.

    No idea why it is happening, but there a few things that you can try. All of these are basic troubleshooting steps.

     

    Restart the iPad.

     

    Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

     

    Close all apps and restart.

     

    Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad as described above.

     

    Reset the iPad.

     

    Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

     

    Clear Safari and restart the iPad. Clearing history is not a must.

     

    Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Cache. Restart the iPad as described above.

    May not be a cause, but you should update to the latest iOS 5.1.1.

    Thank you for the answer, I did try that and at the end of the convertion gave me an error.

    Did it twice ;(

    Hello Demo, just want to thank you for your fast and accurate response.

    It is amazing that something so simple but yet, important could solve the problem. I just re-started the ipad...one thing that never did before in the 2 years that I have the ipad and voila!  Everything is working perfect.
