We listened to the Ipod all afternoon using an ipod (non apple) dock that does not support charging.  When we were cleaning up, I hit the power button on the boombox to turn it off.  The ipod was on at the time.   Later that night DD wanted to listen to music.  The ipod will not turn on.  We assumed that the battery needed to be charged.  We placed the ipod on her clock radio/ipod dock.  This clock radio is what we usually charge the ipod on.   Nothing.   Let it sit all night on the charger.   Still nothing.   Tried the reboot....nothing.

The Ipod is only 18months old.   Any suggestions????   I can't afford a replacement right now and it used daily.

The ipod does not respond when attached to wall outlet, computer, or on the ipod docks.
