    Welcome to the Apple Community.

First check that all your settings are correct, that reminders syncing (calendars on a computer) is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).

Make sure the reminders you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone'  or other non iCloud account (you can do this by checking in accounts on an iOS device by tapping the icon with three lines in the top left corner of the screen, or the right side panel by clicking on the small triangle to the right of the word 'Reminders' in iCal on a computer), non iCloud reminders will not sync.

If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your reminders are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking reminders syncing (calendars syncing on a computer) in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling notes syncing.

I have having same problem with Reminders app for "shared reminders".  I just contacted AppleCare and it was escalated to AppleCare Senior Advisor and he is escalating the problem to Engineering.  It is something that happened after iOS 5.1.1 update.  I was told it could possibly be a bug, but also could be a potential intended change in functionality in the 5.1.1 update.

Sample of issue is as follows...

    Prior to 5.1.1 update:

I created a Reminders list and named it Costco.  As I created the list, for this example, I will call myself the “Owner” of the list.  The owner of the list has full privileges in regards to the list the owner created and shared.  I have shared the Costco list with my wife and older children with "View & Edit" privileges (for sake of example, I will call them “Shared Recipients”). One shared recipient (my wife) adds Toilet Paper to Costco list on her iOS device (iPhone or iPad).  Another shared recipient (my son) goes to Costco with his iOS device and checks the box next to Toilet Paper, which marks Toilet Paper as a “Completed” reminder.  This “edit” will be pushed to the Owner and all Shared Recipients to show the item as “Completed”.

    After 5.1.1 update:

Using the example above, only my son will show the item as Completed on his iOS device.  The Owner and other Shared Recipients, the Toilet Paper will NOT show as Completed.  However, if I (Owner) or my wife (Shared Recipient who originally added Toilet Paper to the Costco list) checks the box next to Toilet Paper, the edit will be pushed to all people the Costco list is shared with.

I was told by AppleCare the owner of the Costco list (who has full privileges over everything in Costco list) or the shared recipient who added the Toilet Paper to the list (who has privileges over the Toilet Paper reminder which they personally added to the list) are the only people that can check the Toilet Paper as a Completed item and have this push to all the people the Costco list is shared with.  As of now, if any other "Shared Recipient" other than these two people (owner who has "privileges" over the Costco list or shared recipient who added Toilet Paper reminder to Costco list) check the box to "Complete" the Toilet Paper reminder, it will show as completed on "their iOS device only", but will NOT show as completed on any other Shared Recipient's device.

Like I mentioned, I was told it could possibly be a bug, but also could be a potential intended change in functionality in the 5.1.1 update.  The AppleCare Senior Advisor will be contacting me sometime next week with more info (i.e. whether a bug or whether it is intended functionality).

Well here's another difference on shared reminders. I also have a shared reminder list between me and the wife. Who ever creates the event on the list and sets a reminder is the only one who gets it. The other person has Remind Me set as never on the iOS device.
