Hoping someone has some ideas here...

I work on a Macbook Pro and keep all my Aperture files on a 2 TB external HD.  My Aperture Library file is 32.93 gigs.  I decided to back up the external drive using Carbon Copy Cloner, and the back-up quits (and the HD unmounts) at the same file about 80% into the backup every time.  The file is named:

Aperture Library.aplibrary/Thumbnails/10rfEeaET9Ckt7jpxyGV5s/AP.Thumbnails.

I have no idea what that file is or how to remove it (if it's somehow corrupted).

Any ideas or work-arounds?  I also tried to use Apple's Back-up, but it quits midway through the back-up also.
