Audio CDs never store track data unless you specify CD-text, and even then iTunes cannot use CD-text even though it can make it. It should be able to identify a CD you made on the same computer, but it isn't transferrable. This has never been the case now or in the past, so you must have made some other CD format or are missing some of the details where it can read the CDs it created.

MP3 CDs do carry track information with them, but not all standard CD players can use mp3 CDs.

Have to eat a little crow here, after checking all my other burned audio cd's. They all have no track data, just the ones I burned in mp3 format. I guess I was just burning them and throwing them in the car or carousel at home and assuming the data was there from all the mp3's Ive burned. You know what happens when you assume...
