I shot some footage in 1080 23.98 and the tv station needs it at a 29.97 frame rate. I edited and finished up in FCPX and then exported to compressor. Now what do I do?
Open Inspector and change the frame rate in the Encoder pane. In the Frames pnae, turn on Frames conrol and for Rate conversion select either Better or Best.
You will to change this too... Inspector... Video Settings... change current to 29.97. When you change from 23.98 to 29.97 your will will play faster and the duration will be shorter.
it made it faster and my interviewee sounds like a chipmunk what can I do now? The frame rate is correct now tho.

I had it set to the bottom one....sorry.
I just did a test with the best and better settings... IMO... I think the better setting is better than best (and it faster too).
