Q: any feedbacks on why the battery is easily to discharge on my ipod unit, thanks to all you r feedbacks

My older IPOD unit is now easily to drain battery,fully charged and after playing a couple of songs will tunr battery empty? any feedbacks will much appreciated and thanks much.
