Q: Very light brown spots on 23" cinema display (A1082), not sure why...
Hi everyone,
So I'm considering buying a 23" cinema display from my good friend. I pulled up a pixel checking program on it yesterday with an all white screen and noticed these six brown spots down the middle of the screen...

This was an image taken with my iphone so it's a bit embellished compared to how it looks in person, but still an issue nonetheless. Has anyone had this happen to them before? Is it something easily remedied by leaving the screen on white all night long or something? In case it matters, I believe the display has been sitting face down for a while unused, not sure exactly how long though.
My current display is a Dell st2410 which isn't horrible, but has an awful vertical viewing angle, isn't very bright, and the brightness isn't very even...here's a similar image...

I'm a professional photographer so it worries me a bit that I might get false interpretations with this monitor as it is with retouching and so on. That said, he's selling it to me for only $200...is that fair considering the spots?
Thanks for reading this!
