My iPhoto 11 does not have the option to export from iphoto to picasa.  I had an earlier edition of iPhoto which allowed this, and I read in the instructions that this is possible, so why is it not for me.

Thank you

I'm really sorry but I am not seeing Picasa>File>Import from iPhoto.  This is how I tried it, with all my albums in view, I pressed on the Picasa emblem (below left), but nothing happened except to refresh my home page.Screen Shot 2012-06-06 at 6.37.43 PM.png

Is this the menu you are talking about..  Sorry to be so ditzy

Just checking out info on iPhoto to Picasa exports, and found your question.  Did you have any success in restarting this function?

No I didn't.  And my present problem hasn't been solved either, that I lost some photos inexplicably, and I restored a previous time from Time Machine, and now I have a lot of grey thumbnails in the months since about June of this year.  I have tried to repair and have even downloaded latest version of iPhoto, still grey
