UNREAL.Apple needs to find a solution pronto

Sadly i think it will require a new software update on ios and a fix with their

    servers combination

Here is one thing to try, change you password. Now before biting my head off for suggesting a PW change, Apple had me change my @me account PW's to some cryptic one for them to test the account against. As of yesterday my mail has been arriving correctly and it is music in my ears when I hear my Mac beep and my iPhone does the same.

I do have issues with the PW change as it in my case effects my iTunes account and all my Apple devices.

So if you are up to it try changing the PW keep in mind you can not go back to your old PW...

Guys, there is nothing you can do. Don't change the password, don't delete and add the account. Nothing will help. It is a server problem. That's all. In Germany for example there is no push at all because of a patent ligigation. The only thing you can do is: relax, wait until it works again. By then don't forget to push the "fetch" button in iCloud and it will definitely fetch your emails earlier than every 15 minutes. Try it. It will take roughly three to five minutes tops. And for all you out there: Push will work again. Maybe today, maybe next week.

Several times, and a few hard restarts as well.

Hope I'm not jinxing myself, but since about 8 last night (Seattle time) every email has pushed just fine. Fingers crossed. Just wish we knew what the issue was/is, for all those who've been suffering for a long time.

It may not be related, as I know a lot of you never had mobileMe accounts, but I did find last night that even though I've been on iCloud since it started, my home system was still logged in to mobileMe in the system prefs panel for some reason. I logged out, and push starting working within 5 minutes or so. Odd.

I have not checked this thread for the past couple of days and push has not been working for the past week or two.  However, seeing that others were finally starting to get push again, I turned off push, turned it back on, and reset the phone.  Finally, push seems to be working again!  I sent myself a few test messages and they were instantly pushed to my phone.  Now I'll just be holding my breath to see how long it stays working.  If there are any changes, I'll update again.

Hopefully this means that Apple finally took notice of a 40+ page thread and found the problem!

As an aside, I believe that the issues affecting people for the last several months are unrelated to the issues that most of us have been complaining about, concerning complete loss of push e-mail for the past couple of weeks.  It appears that the push is working again for those of us who recently started experiencing the problems.

Just a note that my Push has been working for several days now.

Also, I didn't change a single setting - MobileMe is still logged in on my laptop, I have touched nothing.  So yay for working again!

Push only working intermitently for me.

I had a phone call from AppleCare this morning saying that a fix has been issued. Apart from the 10.7.4 Supplemental Update on 1 June I'm not aware of any other updates !

Told AppleCare to go back to the Engineers and find out what the fix is called ...... and when it was issued.

I must say that AppleCare are very limited resource wise (ie they can only escalate to engineers) and they don't seem to be on the ball at all. Very mickey mouse imo !

Push email stoped working for several days on my iPad. I've deleted my iCloud account from the device, and re-activate it... working now!

I have to say that contrary to my excitement that Push began working again recently (after months (months!) of not working as advertised i.e. 'it just works'), well, I am sad to say it is not working again. I haven't touched any settings etc. that may have affected this.

Hope this post helps anyone that may be following this from the very first post in this thread as I am one of the unlucky first posters here!

My 'case' has been an 'escalated' one for quite some time...sadly, with NO response from engineers yet.

I was contacted day before yesterday by the rep, who has been very kind, about PUSH having been 'worked on' or whatever.  But it was after the whole fiasco that happened a week or so ago.  I told her I was aware of that issue because I'd seen all of the new posts flooding in and was hopeful once people began to say PUSH was working again that it would be working for ALL of us...but unfortunately, it seemed to only be a 'fix' for those affected by the most recent outage.

For some reason, having been screwed since October of 2011, I still get to experience a faulty mail system.  If I had known, I'd never have 'migrated' over to iCloud.  I'd have waited until the last possible minute.  7+ months of this has been pretty disappointing.
