Hi,

I just started to use automator yesterday.  My first workflow I created was one to rename a batch of photos.  I used the following actions:

1.  Get selected finder items.

2.  Sort finder items.

3.  Rename finder items (to make sequential)

4.  Rename finder items (to add creation date)

When running this workflow within automator this worked great.  However, I decided to make the same workflow as a service in finder.  The service appears in the contextual menu when a group of photos are selected and the renaming works.  But, it will rename the files in an odd numbered sequence.  ie.  001, 003, 005, etc.  If I change the start number to an even number, the sequence will be 002, 004, 006, etc.

Can someone tell me if I'm doing something wrong with the service workflow?

Thanks.
