Q: ePub file that works elsewhere getting error in iTunes producer, error items-9000

Try to save the file again and then trying to upload it again. There is a possablility that the file is corrupt or something like that.

Just did a little research. You must publish your book from iBooks Author if you have media files in it. That arror code means that there is a file type error. If you upload using iBooks Author then that code should go away.

Stange. Are you sure that is the right error code? If it is then try going back through all of your meta data to make sure that everything is correct.

Have you asked your publisher to sent you the file again? The file may just be corrupted. If you get a new file try to use that one and see if it goes smoothly.

I'm getting the same error and none of the answers here would solve it. Help!
