What many have been saying here is that they have also removed the credit card in question from the iTunes account. This sounds like it could possibly be credit card fraud unrelated to his iTunes account. It's possible that anyone could record his credit card info at a restaurant or at the checkout of a store, then use that info to purchase from their iTunes, totally unrelated to your iTunes account. Something to check into.

For crying out loud this has nothing to do with credit card fraud - fact (confirmed in confidence by an Apple employee - another fact).
I only got involved with this after my credit from a gift card was drained and I have NEVER had a credit card registered or used with Itunes or Apple.
Read the entries on this forum before speculating...

Aircool, please learn how to read these forums and their threads. My reply wasn't to you it was to:
I see that this post is your only post ever made in Apple User Forums. Since this is a community supported help site, maybe you would care to contribute and share your experience with your iTunes account being compromised. The community here might be able to give you helpful advice or steer you in a helpful direction.
Being helpful serves everyone. Being disruptive serves no one.

Same exact thing just happened to me today. Same game, same purchase. My billing info was changed, too. I've reset everything and have removed all credit cards from my account. The only thing I've done differently was that I just added an iTunes gift card to my account. Soon after, someone got in and used it all up. Contacting apple is darn near impossible. so I'm not sure what to do about it at this point.

ValWheeler, maybe the community here can help. What steps have you taken to contact Apple?

Contacting apple is darn near impossible.
Actuall, it is very simple.
Click Contact us at the bottom right of every page on Apple.com.
Click on Support at the top of this (and most other pages) and select the topic you want help with.
For iTunes, go here -> http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/

Please see my post also. Very interesting to learn that Haypi Kingdom knows about the credit card fraud that's occuring on Gpoints and they're doing nothing to stop it.

Hacking worm holes in iTunes
There are already 71 web pages of complaints on just one customer forum, and it's growing.
For more than a year, iTunes users have been reporting on online Apple customer forums that their accounts have been hacked, their gift cards spent, their PayPal accounts used or their store credit exhausted.

That is really subjective that every post on the now closed, not growing forum are complaints. I read quite a few posts there that are not complaints at all. How do you figure? It's also relevant to how many posts one has their webpage to display!
