I just upgraded last night and tried to do what I often do with a shoot which is pull shots off my iPhone for GPS data. It tries to, but just sits and gives me the windmill and never pulls any shots off the phone. It did a day ago with 3.2. Anyone else having this problem or is is just me?

    Hi kb8wfh

Your title leads me to believe that you are importing photos from your iPhone but the GPS information is gone.  But the body of your post leads me to believe you can't import any photos from yoru iPhone.  I'm not sure what the issue is.

No, actually, I'm just using the GPS data from photos on the iPhone for other shots already importred into the library from my DSLR taken at teh same time.

I import the DSLR photos and plug the iPhone in, select Places and use the Import GPS from iPhone Photos.

Little update...I am able to import the photos from the iPhone using the Aperture import procedure. The photos do contain the GPS data, but the coordiantes are pretty significallnty off. Not accurate at all.

A work around is to go to the Import window and choose your iPhone. Uncheck Do Not Import Duplicates and then let all the photos load just in the import window.  Click Cancel.  Then go back to Places > GPS > Import GPS from iPhone and it should work.  (I have a lot of photos and still got the spinning beachball for a bit initially but then all the photos appeared.)
