I have an iPod Touch 4G (32G) running iOS 5.1.1.

Occasionally (like maybe 1 out of 8 times) when I unlock it, it will hang/freeze for around 5 seconds more or less before responding to anything. It doesn't happen all the time, but often enough for me to notice. Also, I'm not sure if it happens to everyone, but sometimes when the keyboard pops up for something, typing will lag a bit in the beginning as well. And also scrolling to the spotlight search area. Should I be worried that something is wrong or is this considered normal..?

Also, I have tried resetting (powering off), restoring from a backup, and restoring from factory settings completely, and all have resulted in the lag issues still. And yes, I often close the apps that are running the background (double clicking home and closing the apps). And no, my iPod is not even close to reaching it's maximum memory. I'm like maybe using 1/4 of the memory.
