Jun 18, 2012 4:11 PM in response to JudithRomanescaby JudithRomanesca,This is JudithRomanesca. Consumer Reports wouldn't accept my correct username and password. Somewhere I saw something about it accepting only IE and Firefox. I read a lot of posts from people who were trying to get a version of IE for Macs. That sounded pretty chancey so I tried to download Firefox for Mac. That took me forever because after I downloaded it I couldn't find it. When I finally found it and went back to Consumer Reports, I was able to sign in. Don't ask me why you all could get into CR with Safari, I couldn't.
I am starting to regret trying to switch to a Mac. I am having a lot more problems than I thought I would. My husband went from a PC to a Mac and had no problems, but he had actually used a computer very little, whereas I was reasonably proficient and now find a lot of things I can't figure out "intuitively" as I thought I would be able to and I am frustrated.

At first you said you could not get into the web site - several of us tested this and found that we could access the web site.
Now you say you have login difficulties with the site - this is not the same thing.
As far as I can tell others cannot test this for you unless they are prepared to pay a subscription.
