Jun 18, 2012 2:46 PM in response to iChuckBorisby Demo,I hope it will be this easy for you ... Settings>Store>Apple ID - tap the ID that is showing and sign out. Sign in with the other ID.
You can also sign in and out of accounts in the App Store and in iTunes in the bottom left corner of the screen - Featured tab in the app store - the Music tab in iTunes.

Jun 18, 2012 3:03 PM in response to Demoby iChuckBoris,I've done this several times and the problem is still here the window pop up with the first iTunes ID I used on my iPad, I just can't change it.

Jun 18, 2012 3:34 PM in response to iChuckBorisby Demo,Well as you know, if app updates are available for the soya for instance Apple ID "A" - you have to use that ID in order to update those apps and if updates for Apple ID "B" pop up, you have to use that ID in order to update those apps.
So what I am asking you now is .... What are you trying to do and where are you trying to do it on your iPad?

Jun 18, 2012 3:49 PM in response to Demoby iChuckBoris,Ok let me reformulate all this.
Im using two differents accounts on my iPad, mine (let's call it A) and my brother's one (let's call it B).
I've downloaded apps with this two accounts but when I try to update an app downloaded with account A (mine) the window always pop up with the other iTunes account, the B (my brother's account).
The thing is that the window always pop up with the account B and ask me the password of it even if I've by the app with the A account.
When I look on the settings or in the bottom of the AppStore account A is connected (mine).
I'm although using two differents accounts on my iPhone and I'm not having this problem

Jun 18, 2012 4:08 PM in response to iChuckBorisby Demo,OK. I do understand. You have changed the ID everywhere, but your brothers ID continues to pop up - even if the app that you are trying to update was bought with your own account. Is that correct?
Piaf you are doing this on the phone with no issues I don't know why you can't do it on the iPad - unless you have locked yourself out of your own account by associating the iPad with your brother's ID. I will just admit to you now that I do not fully understand how this all works, but I know if you associate an iDevice with a particular ID, according to Apple's rules, you cannot use another ID on that device for 90 days. The key word here is "associate". You associate a device with an Apple ID when you redownload purchased content onto that device using that ID.
Read this blog and pay attention to the last part of the article.
But like I said - and like you said already, if you can swap ID's on the phone, I'm not sure why you can't do it on the iPad.

Jun 18, 2012 4:40 PM in response to Demoby iChuckBoris,Yeah you've understood my problem, I don't see why it's working on my phone but not on the iPad maybe some apple restriction.
I will try to disassociate my iPad to my brother's accounts tomorrow on iTunes (it's getting late here :)) and tell you if it change something.
Anyway thank you for your help and you patience

Jun 18, 2012 4:51 PM in response to iChuckBorisby Demo,I do not understand why it works on the phone but not on the iPad either. That is baffling to me.
Get some sleep then as it is late.

Jul 1, 2012 7:12 AM in response to SweetPoison54by mariposa19,I am having the Same problem on my I pad & I pod touch with updating apps . It won't let me change my Apple ID to my new email address, however somehow I was able to do it on my I phone, this is so frustrating its been a week or more . I had to change my apple ID email address because hotmail locked my account due to it being hacked. I can't even purchase anything from I tunes store on my computer because it still shows my old Apple ID email, this is where I first signed up for an apple ID account with i Tunes about 5 years ago. Please help someone I have tried just about all suggestions. Thanks

Jul 2, 2012 12:36 AM in response to mariposa19by iChuckBoris,Hi.
I finally fixed this issues, but can't tell you how I did. I just restored my iPad severals times (it didn't work the first time, so I did it maybe 5 times and it finally work).
Another thing, check that your device is not associated with the older account (check on the link posted by Demo).
About iTunes I don't know sorry. That's all I can tell to help you.
