Under Settings Notifications, check each apps Settings and make sure they are "On" in the ones you want. Other than that I'd try a reset or last ditch a restore on to see if that fixes the issue... Good Luck

All the apps are "on" in notifications, so I guess Reset is next... Can you tell what happens when I reset?? Will I have to start from scratch with setting up apps and accounts, etc. ?

by reset, I meant holding down the power button and home button until the you see an apple logo appear on the screen, this is a hard reboot... if you do a restore, yes you'll have to reset up the apps etc... Did you check that the apps in question had notifications set up for them even though they were "On"... meaning under each app there's options for Banners/Badges/Sounds or a combination of all of them etc... One other thing i thought of is do you have any custom alerts for individuals? Meaning if you get say a text from your wife you can have a specific ring assigned for her? Just thinking maybe if there's a custom alert that's no longer there or not working properly. Just trying to think of other options because I hate restoring as much as the next guy! If all else fails you can try the Genius Bar at an Apple store if there's one close enough, before a restore

No custom alerts. All the apps in questions have notifications set up for them. Looks like a reset is in order. I'm doing that now.... I'll post the results in a few minutes.
Thanks for you quick responses.

I think treseting did the trick.... She gets the alerts with e-mail but not yet sure about text and iMessage. I'll know more today.
One other thing.... We use the same account. The address she receives iMessages at is the same as mine. Not sure if that means anything. She also receives and sends from her phone contacts.....
I don't think that matters, though as she used to get the alerts.....
I'll know more later today.
