Q: ok so my comics are in itunes (bought comic viewer).  How the **** do I get them into my iPad?

The Apps from the Mac App Store offer downloads written is software for the OS X based OS.  Your iPad only reads iOS based software.  You would need to download into your iPad itself from the iTunes App store, not the Mac App Store, if you haven't already.  I believe that was your question.  If not, let us know.
