The USB connector is attached to the iPhone's warranty, so yes, it's covered.
Its not the USB connector. It's the USB cable.
Still covered under your warranty.
Anything that came in the box with your phone is under warranty.
If there's a tear on the cable is it still covered by warranty? I called 'em up and they said that I had to pay for a new one coz a tear on the cable from normal use is not covered by warranty. :(
User damages is not covered by the warranty. You can take it in to Apple and let them look at it... they are the only ones that determine what and what is not user damage.
