Jun 22, 2012 8:38 AM in response to ctwesby spyrule,The home power doesn't make sense in this case, because it was happening on multiple different power charges on different plugs as well as multiple computers via USB.
Final solution was to go to an apple store, they did a ton of testing (2hrs sitting in the store), and eventually replaced the phone itself. They we're truely not sure why it was happening. I think it might have been something stuck in the IO port on the bottom of the phone, but there was nothing there to see, and there was nothing in the headphone jack.
Meh, problem resolved with a new replacement phone.

Jul 3, 2016 10:01 AM in response to ctwesby MNZS33,This is happening to me with 4 phones and 1 iPad. I'm thinking it has to be a problem with the latest update on the computer. I've never had this before and all of the sudden it's happening with all my devices. I think we need a better explanation from Apple.
