Jun 22, 2012 6:20 PM in response to badgerchowby John Galt,I cannot explain why you are not able to answer the questions on your iPad.
Try this: on a computer, go to http://appleid.apple.com and select "Manage your account". Log in with your Apple ID and password, then select Password and Security from the left column. You will be able to choose your security questions and provide the answers there.
While you are there, add a "rescue email address" that can be used in the event you forget the answers to the questions you choose. The address must be different than your Apple ID and cannot be one of your additional email addresses you already used with an Apple ID.

Jun 23, 2012 3:36 AM in response to badgerchowby Andy148,Just adding my two cents. Brand new iPhone my wife got yesterday, trying to download some apps, prompts for security question. First two questions can be selected and an answer put in fine, 3rd question will not prompt a list of options. It's as if no options are there for the 3rd question and so the button does nothing.
Until it's resolved I can't seem to use the app store at all.
Brand new iphone, fully up to date, brand new apple id.

However my daughter has a separate I tunes account and she hasn't been asked to set up the security questions. Both accounts are two years old. This is a nightmare I can't use the AppStore at all. Does anyone know how to report this as an individual

sorted it by downloading app through itunes on my imac. again had to set up 3 questions but had no problem there accessing the third question.
happily downloading apps on ipad now. good luck

Under product categories choose iTunes
Then iTunes store
Then account management
Press continue.
Now choose iTunes store security and answer the bullet questions and click continue.
Sign in with your appleid and press continue
Under contact options fill out the information and advise iTunes that you would like your security/challenge questions reset. Click send.
iTunes will respond to you within 24 hours by email
