can receive mail but not send.

i already did a software update, i changed the port, and i went in to check the advanced setting. nothing is working. help?!

    Define 'not working' please.


    What happens when you try? Does it leave your mail client, but not arrive at the recipient's mailbox?


    Are you running your own mail server? or are you talking about mail sent from your client?


    What do the mail logs have to say about it?


    As it stands, there's not enough data to begin to answer your question.
