You might try writing to Apple Customer Service and explain what happened and what you've done. You might also try calling the Apple Customer Service phone number in Chile and ask to speak to a supervisor. There is also an Apple Customer Relations phone number in the US 1-800-767-2775. Some people with problems have had luck there with resolving problems. If you do talk to anyone, be polite but firm. Explain what the problem is, what you've done to resolve it in the past, that it has now returned and you'd like some help. I don't know whether or not there is a similar phone number available in Chile.
As far as legal remedies, that would be consistent with Chilean laws and regulations. Unless someone on this forum has information, you'd have to do checking locally.
In the future, you should purchase Apple Care. It gives you a full 3 years of warranty service, access to tech support, etc/iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8), 3.06 Core 2 Duo, 8GB, 27" Screen

If you lost the ticket, there's nothing to do.
I have solved this issue sending the ticket (and MY purchase date - not the original-), and the guarantee was valid again.
I've purchased the "Apple Care Extended Service" to avoid any more problems.
Anyway after the second fix of the screen everything goes ok
Good luck with your problem!
