Q: Sales Reports

Does iBooks have an up-to-the-hour spreadsheet that shows sales of our ebooks, as Amazon does? If not, how do we find out what we've sold? Or do we wait for 45 days?

iTunes Connect furnishes daily and weekly reports for downloads/sales. Also monthly financials.

I recommend using AppAnnie, AppViz etc. to download and manage reports.

For the Luddites here, where in iTunes connect do I find those reports? Do I need the apps you mentioned in order to view my sales?

Bear in mind you're talking to someone who only just understood how to deliver my conten to ITunes connect.

    Thanks for your patience here.

Never mind. I found the section.. it was labelled "Sales and Reports"... duh.

But while you're here, how long does it take for a sale to be recorded? Does the report update only once a day, or is it more or less as sales come in?

The daily reports are normally updated by am PST for me....sometimes they are delayed, but they always/eventually come thru.

Just remember that the daily/weekly stats are for reference only. The Monthly Financial reports contain the actual data used to process payouts.

Also....the reporting tools via iTunes Connect seem to leave a lot to be desired
