Wondering if I'm compatible with Mlion?

I'm running   Model Name:Mac Pro   Model Identifier:MacPro3,1   Processor Name:Quad-Core Intel Xeon   Processor Speed:2.8 GHz   Number Of Processors:1   Total Number Of Cores:4   L2 Cache:12 MB   Memory:2 GB


I was using Mobil Me and now with out email and trying to get it back!

Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.8), was mobil me now now email...

    General Requirements

    • OS X v10.6.8 or later
    • 2GB of memory
    • 8GB of available space
    • Some features require an Apple ID; terms apply.
    • Some features require a compatible Internet service provider; fees may apply.


    • iMac (Mid 2007 or newer)
    • MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer)
    • MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer)
    • Xserve (Early 2009)
    • MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer)
    • Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer)
    • Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer)





    OS X Lion system requirements

    To use Lion, make sure your computer has the following:

    • An Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
    • Mac OS X v10.6.6 or later to install via the Mac App Store (v10.6.8 recommended); you can install without Mac OS X v10.6 by using an OS X Lion USB Thumb Drive, available on the Apple Online Store
    • 7 GB of available disk space
    • 2 GB of RAM


    If your Mac does not meet these requirements, you will need to  upgrade your Mac before installing Lion.
