No, the tracks are fine in iTunes. It's quite puzzling. The only other info that might be relevent is that all of the audiobooks are supplied by audible. (they were all purchased through itunes though)
What format are they in? Does this happen with any music tracks you play as well?
Have you tried a hard reset of your device to see if that makes a difference? To do this, press and hold both the Select (Center) and Menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
It might not also hurt to unsync and resync these audiobook tracks from your iPod via iTunes.
Ive done a hard reset of the Ipod, And have also tried a unsync/resync of the tracks. It's only with the audiobooks. And it's with all of them. No music tracks or albums have the issue. Its become super frustrating. All I can put it down to is something to do with audible the company?
