On both my Iphone 4s, and my 160Gb ipod classic, all of my audiobooks, (mainly Ricky Gervais, but a few others as well) stop playing at somewhere between 3 and 5 minutes. The playclock continues to run, but there is no sound. If i skip back to the start it begins again and stops in the same spot. Ive had the audiobooks for ages and they worked on my iphone3, and older ipods. Is this a bug with the lastest iOS? If anyone has a solution or suggestion, i'd be greatly appreciative. Thanks

Do these same tracks have this problem in iTunes?

What format are they in? Does this happen with any music tracks you play as well?

Have you tried a hard reset of your device to see if that makes a difference?  To do this, press and hold both the Select (Center) and Menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

It might not also hurt to unsync and resync these audiobook tracks from your iPod via iTunes.

What format are these audiobooks in?

Its become super frustrating. All I can put it down to is something to do with audible the company?

Perhaps you should get in contact with them and see what they have to say.
