I purchased a MBP with Lion on it in Octomber 2011. It came with a SSD and I am worrying that if my disk crashes I will lose the Lion as well. What can I do to be safe in that case?

All guides I could find was about how to make a lion copy in a disk or dvd but this case is only if you already have a Leopard and you are upgrading..

    "Mac OS X Base System".

That's not an installer. That is the Recovery partition.

Clone your Mac to an external drive using Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper. If your hard drive crashes, you can boot from the Clone and then clone to the new drive.
