Q: move aperture from old mbp to mbp retina without moving all programmes, move aperture from old mbp to mbp retina without moving all programmes

I have to move Aperture from old MBP osx 10.6 to new MBP retina. I used the assistant to move the program, but when it starts it asks for serialnumber from the original Aperture 1. I cant find that - only vers. 2 and 3 upgrades. Is it possible to find and move the reg. informations? (I also have aperture on  my MacPro osx 10.7)

Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.4), Epson Stylus pro 3880

The About Panel (from the main Aperture menu bar: Aperture > About Aperture) usually shows the registration number, but I doubt, that it will show you the Aperture 1 registration number, I cannot test that, I only ever had Aperture 3.

If you cannot find the serial number, contact Apple with a proof of purchase; see these support articles, on what constitutes aproof of purchase:

P.S. Migrating the program will not keep the serial number information, if the architecture of the system is different, then you will have to enter the serial number again.
