iCloud has no replacement for iDisk, try Sugarsync or Dropbox, or one of the many others.

Here's what I do. Log into www.icloud.com by entering your Apple ID and passwd. You can drag & drop text files, pdf, pages and numbers etc. Here's the rub, you need the latest iWork (or Pages, Numbers etc), and you need to get the iPhone apps for Pages, Numbers etc. I've don away with microsoft office and now stick to iWork.

With the iPhone apps installed, you can see your drag&dropped files and work on them on the iPhone. You can also download your iPhone edited file to your iMac or Macbook.

    Hope this helps.
