Aperture from the AppStore? The licence permits you to download it and install it on any Mac you control (for private purposes), you only have to buy it once.

 

But the current Aperture release requires MacOS X Linon 10.7.4 or later, and your MacBook Pro and your iMac must have intel processors and be able to run a 64bit only application, see the technical specifications
