6.1 is out and has the timed access option added back in.
-Update to 6.1 with software update.
-open Airport Utility
-click the Airport router you want to edit settings for, click Edit button
-click network tab
-click 'timed access control...' button
-add or edit as needed.
Restores the functionality that 6.0 ditched for some reason. Belated thank you Apple! (not belated because *I* was late though! )
I am running 10.7.4, and tried to add my airport express. Obviously I came upon a service advisory warning telling me that the current version of Airport (6) does not support my hardware. When I tried to install the airport 5.6.1, my computer will not allow me to do so, saying that the version of Mac OS X on this volume is not supported. Any ideas?

If you check the notes on the download page for 5.6.1, you will see that this version is for Snow Leopard and Leopard Macs only.
You have Lion, so you need AirPort Utility 5.6 for Mac OS X Lion
