Please find the article above to move your itunes library. I am still looking for documentation on how to use iphoto with a NAS/timecapsule.

This is our resident iPhoto guru, Terence Devlin's, advice:
You can move your iPhoto Library to an external disk:
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library Folder as an entity from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.

I followed these instructions to move the Iphoto library from my Macbook to my Time Capsule.
I can see the library on my Time Capsule, but if I try to open it from my iMac to make sure all the photos are there, it says it is locked?
I redirected the iPhoto on my Macbook to the library on the Time Capsule, and it seems to be all there, but I am nervous to delete the library on my Macbook disk before I'm sure it is all there. Is there a way to "unlock" it so I can access it from the other computer?

You can change permissions in Get Info, and select that library as the one of choice next tme you open iPhoto.

I'm sorry, I don't know where "Get Info" is that you are talking about.
If I try to connect to the Library on the Time Capsule, it says I need a newer version of iPhoto, but when I check if there are updates, it says I have the most current version?

Also now since I tried to select that library instead of the local one, it's doing the same if I try to switch back and open the Library that is on the hard disk not the Time Capsule.
