I start to learn Java and need good IDE for it, I know about Eclipse and Netbeans, downloaded the last one and it's asked me my root password, I don't like when 3rd party apps asked me that. So, can you recommend best IDE for Java on Mac?
Don't be so touchy
Apple's IDE does the same thing...get used to it...it's part of the installation and system resource access routine.
Good luck in any case.
For Java, I use Eclipse and have for years. No use of a root password.
Does XCode support Java? Or something especially for Mac, not Windows port?
This was an interesting discussion ... talking about JGrasp (last post in the thread) ...
What is about Aptana? And why many applications doesn't come to AppStore and I should download on another sites, use uninstaller instead drop in trash can and other things?

Xcode support just about anything. You may need to use Makefile-based projects, but there is nothing wrong with that. I build web sites in Xcode.
