There you can tell them your problem and they will check your iPod.

Jul 17, 2012 11:53 AM in response to CJ241by Kenichi Watanabe,You can try doing a Restore on the shuffle, in iTunes. Select the shuffle in the iTunes sidebar, under DEVICES. Over to the right, on the Settings or Summary tab (depending on shuffle model), there is a button for Restore. This will erase the shuffle, reinstall software, and set it to default settings.
If the cause is related to software or settings, it may help. If it's hardware-related, like a bad battery, it won't help.
