Q: Need another link to download iOS 3.1 for my ipod touch 1st generation!

I can't find anywhere to purchase and download iOS 3.1 for my ipod touch 1st generation (iOS 2.2.1 at the moment), despite clicking through the link provided in this article. It just leads me to a page to download iTunes to my computer which I already have! Can anyone shed some light? Thanks!

Are you using the latest version of iTunes (10.6.3)? What happens if you try to open the link using a different web browser such as Firefox or Chrome?
