Q: Video Content problem

I have got videos which i have downloaded i keep them in Different folders but i cannot put them onto my ipod Classic 160gb Device i am getting frustrated please help community members

    By "Different folders," do you mean playlists in iTunes?  The videos need to be in iTunes first, in a format that is playable using iTunes, before being loadable on an iPod.

     

    If the videos are in iTunes, the problem could be resolution of the videos.  iPods can generally play videos up to 640x480 resolution.  If your videos are "HD" (720p or 1080p), they are higher than 640x480 resolution so iTunes will not load them on your iPod. 

     

    If the videos came from the iTunes Store, you can usually find a download of the same video that is "SD" (standard def).  SD resolution videos should load on iPods.  If they were purchased videos, you should be able to download the SD version at no additional cost.

     

    If the videos are from an external source and do not have copy protection, there is a conversion command in iTunes.  Select the video in the iTunes window, go up to the menu bar under Advanced, and select Create iPod or iPhone Version.  That version should load on iPods.
