I just moved my whole iTunes media folder to my new MBP, when I hold down option and start iTunes, I choose the new folder, it should restore my data but it's still empty. Would you please help?

I just moved my whole iTunes media folder
Because you need to move the entire /iTunes/ folder, not jus the /iTunes media/ folder inside the /iTunes/ folder..

Yes I meant my whole iTunes folder (music/iTunes/). It has everything in it (album artworks folder, audiobooks, itunes media folder, mobile applications folder, movies folder, music folder, tv shows folder...etc) and its over 70 GBs (I only have 5 GBs of music and probably 10 GBs movies, the rest is iphone apps and data I guess).
You think there's something else?
